Here's the other one. Both "USED" and I don't see any instructions laying around, and as was already said by Nitro: Whipple ( the manufacturer) stopped supporting their "kit" because of problems they couldn't solve and discontinued their sale.

Oh I'm just stunned that they are still out there??? Most likely ... not a good idea for a daily driver??? But the for the "foolish" the adventurous" or the "Turbo a NA" crowd a viable option.

You'd just have to be "smarter" than the guys that built the kits ... to make the motor live??? Most likely they used a Raising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator and called it a day???

In Toyota land (Tercel) there are 300 hp Hi Compression Turbos running around on "All Stock Internals." 1.5 5efte and 1.3 4efte those are not true DOHC Motors, the exhaust is slaved off the intake. The 1.3 is a factory turbo motor. All they use for "Engine Management" is a "Properly Tuned" E Manage Blue, unit.

And 400 hp with forged internals has been done. They (we) would kill for a true DOHC 2.4 motor! To get more displacement in a Tercel you have to notch the frame ... 3sgte ... 500 hp + potential there!

With the "PT" people get caught up in copying the factory car and for Turboing the 2004 forward cars it gets "complicated." There is an expensive full standalone unit for the 2000-2003 cars. But it only comes with a base map ... "Dyno Tuning" required.

Any "tool" can bolt on a forced induction setup to any motor ... making the motor live ... that takes "Skills."
