Does the installation of a "power chip" really give the engine more horse power and more miles per gallon??
If it does, what is a good brand of power chip for a 2008 NA, automatic? |

Wow.
Well, I watched the whole video. Now there's 27 minutes I won't get back. Surely, this is not to say that ALL power chips are bogus, or are they?? Am I correct in saying that there are different electric control modules and maps that would give their correlating specific engines better performance and economy?? |

just FYI- the chip from my era ford was two confusingly packaged 1k ohm resistors that touched a number of important sensors, but in the end only lowered the ACT and ECT by appx 20°F. ![]() it's here: 2nd. case of three (3) A9L ECMs getting refurbished - Hackfabrication |
