Default Pt Cruiser Oil Pan Removal: Safe without crane?

I need to take the oil pan out of my PT Cruiser, and i dont know if its safe to take out the structural collar of the engine, without a crane. I was planning to use a jack to hold it up until i removed the collars, and my engine mounts are still in place.

Default Re: Pt Cruiser Oil Pan Removal: Safe without crane?

I recently pulled an 02 pan in the gravel at a local u-pull-it. Only pain was having to pull the entire A/C pump Bracket, so that the pan clears the Left lower "torque" mount.
