Geez Konkeler, and I thought I was being harsh with my "leave early" comment! Technobear drives a N/A PT and he wants to know how to get the best launch he can - with his car! I seriously doubt he's trying to figure out how to smoke a 427 Vette, but the occassional Civic/Focus/Celica maybe, now that's a different story.

It's great fun having a PT outrun someone, they just never expect it. And the things you can outrun with a Stage 1 Turbo - yeehaaaaaa! (But not, of course, a 427 Vette - although those Mustang GT's are mighty tasty!)

I agree, I love sleepers, and I would love to fix up my Cruiser and make it faster... but that just cost too much money.

Is some ricer pulled up to me in the Cruiser and wanted race, I might give it shot... But I don't go around trying to race my Cruiser.

The info is great! I tried playing with the "shifting" and i just dont have the knack for it. It gives me the willies, feels like im trying to break the tranny. But the powerbreaking gave me a better launch than just mashing it. I had never really considered doing a neutral drop because i know what damage that can do.

FYI. Mine is a daily driver. So, making extreme mods isnt an option (nos, aftermarket turbo) but bolting on some parts to make it look, sound, and act better is cool with me. And with just a dropin k&n and taking out the silencer i was able to make a grand prix gt think twice the other day! [):]
He squeeled, i squeeled and had him till 45 then he blew past, heheheh.
