Default VENOM Nitrous users??

Is there anybody who has installed the new Venom Nitrous system on your cruiser-- the 2000 series?-- the one with the electronic programmable control?? If so, please let me know what you think of it. I am interested in getting one, but was wondering if anybody who has used it could give me feedback first. Thanks

IMHO You are asking for trouble to put a nitrous system on a PT.

# 1 The bottom end is too weak and if you get some bad gas or the fuel mixture is off just a little your going to blow it.

# 2 If a dealer sees the NOS system you can kiss your warranty goodbye

There is no cheap way to go fast but it's your money.

If you want to go fast listen to BSTOCKEM over on the PTTC forums. He REALLY knows his stuff when it comes to PT engines

I know that this is my first post, but I have been a dedicated reader of these posts for over a year now. I have learned much from all of you and have the Utmost respect for bob stockum! But, I don't want this post to turn into people giving pros and cons of nitro, that has been done many time in other posts... I hope this does not sound rude, but I really just want to hear if anybody has the venom system and what their thought are on that system in particular. My intrest in that system is that it seems different insofar as it is much more actively controled by a computer-hence more semi-idiot proof. Thanks again from a semi-idiot

I have a venom nitrous system on my 2001 Eclispe Drag Car and it work very well, It monitors the 02 signal on your car and it turns off if starts to run too lean.

Anyone tried the ZEX wet kit... it's rumored to be idiot proof.

My theory is... go NOS until warranty expires... as someone said, NOS can be easily removed should a warranty claim need to be made.
