Any info on PT specific? Never heard of them and their website doesn't seem to list an application.
You can find SOME info on the exhaust from the Billy Boat website. But I was just wondering about the sound, performance, and so on. Billy Boat is probably one of the best places to get exhaust for Vipers and Prowlers.

They make a cat-back for the Cruiser, its just they have very little info on the website about it, it doesnt even say what size the pipes are and so on. On the website, they say the exhuast retails for $705 or something, but I found it for $450 or so.

Thanks guys,
Matt

"I don't know what you are after, however if you are just looking for a slight performance improvement with reasonably quiet sound, then how about finding someone's OEM GT exhaust? They periodically appear on Ebay - and I think such a package would be great on a N/A cruiser."

My wife has the OEM GT exhaust off of my GT on her '01 PT. It sounds good, not too loud, but it is deeper and louder than a N/A OEM exhaust.

What are the specs on OEM GT exhaust? Is it still a 2.25 inch exhaust? What is the difference between the two exhausts then? Also, does it just bolt right up? or does something need to be modified for it to fit.

I want a deeper sound, something that you can actually HEAR the car when its on, I dont mean LOUD, I just want it to make a much deeper throatier sound.

How big is the tip on the OEM GT exhaust? If I remember right when I saw some at the dealership, the tips were much bigger then the ones on the NAs, they probable have a 3inch tip?

Thanks,
Matt

The OEM exhaust is 2 1/4" but the muffler is less restrictive and somewhat louder and throatier. The tip is 2 3/4" on the GT OEM exhaust. The turbocharger quiets things down to the point that the GT with it's stock exhaust is actually quieter than the NA with the stock exhaust. However, the NA will gain a little HP and noise when using the GT exhaust.

Okay, so I guess the next question would be, does anyone have their stock GT exhaust sitting in their garage wanting to get rid of it? If the price is low enough, I may just try that out, and see what I think, and if its still not for me, I will check into the other exhuasts again.
