Default Radiator part help- 2003 Turbo - leaking coolant

First post glad to see a forum for these cars. I am about to purchase from a friend a 2003 woodie turbo and just the radiator is leaking from a part which I cannot for the life of me identify. I am attaching pictures and hope to have some insight provided. Thank you for your time. First photo is the part and the cracked plastic and the second is where it was from

Orlando Florida. After reading the service manual provided on here i have identified the part as the "radiator inlet neck" but cannot find a part number.

i have never seen a radiator with a bolt-on inlet like that. a whole radiator is only $60 + shipping though. in my case shipping was cheap. the radiator was fedex'd from a place so close it was picked up and delivered by the same truck for iirc about $8

i asked where you were because i have a fairly new radiator i'd give away free if you were in the area.

a few of us have used and are happy with the cheap RA radiator. -> anybody try the $54 radiator

Yea we have come to that conclusion as well but what a labor intensive job for a part that sits on top and is bolt on. Just odd they don't have them available online. We checked one U-pull yard and the turbo models all had that part removed so I had assumed it was a commonly replaced or sought after part. A new radiator would have the inlet neck attached?

yes. you can buy the cheap radiator. the inlet is just part of it(non removable). took me 1 hour and 40 minutes to change including filling and bleeding..

searching here, it seems that nobody ever found the part you're looking for and the inlet is only sold with the radiator:

I am looking for a radiator inlet neck to fit a 2004 2.4 Turbo engine. Even though this part is bolted on to the radiator and is designed to be removed, I was told by two different dealers that it is only sold as part of a complete radiator for a cost of $325. This part is the piece that the upper radiator hose clamps onto. Thanks!
