Default Can't remove right engine mount

Been working on changing my timing belt and related. Had to stop for a while but now I'm on it again.

Problem now is how to remove the right engine mount. Everything is out of the way, belt covers are off and the engine is on jacked blocks. The mount is loose and almost has enough clearance to come out. But regardless of how high I've gotten the engine the mount always hits something.

The factory manual says "Remove the engine assembly for the required clearance to access the engine mount," which is kind of obvious I guess but not particularly helpful.

I can jack the engine a little higher but it's getting pretty far up there. Is there some way to shift the engine/trans toward the driver side to get the clearance I need?

Would appreciate some info. Thanks.

I'm guessing you're either too high or too low, man. If you had it level, it would come out.

Thanks, Chuzz.

Apparently I didn't have it level, then. It's out now, though, and I'm finally over the hump and putting all the new stuff back in. Thanks for your response.

Having replaced 3..
The Factory Service Manual is correct. This is almost better with 2 people with the lifting. The second person is to make sure during lifting that you do not damage other engine compartment parts and also can maneuver the package for better accessibility.
You must raise the engine and transmission until you can access the mount to remove it. It is as simple as that.
There is NO safe shortcut and generally it is not hard to do just semi labor intensive.
