If your getting 3 mpg, you have a gas leak somewhere.

What makes you think you're getting 3 MPG?

this happen to me a few months back but CEL was on, it ran terrible, and smoked like some one was dumping oil into the intake, all because of a bad plugs. Injector stayed on dumping raw fuel into cylinder and saturating crankcase. I had to drain 1 1/2 quarts of thined oil to get it to full.
I think one of the codes was incomplete burn and then there was P0300 random misfire.

Welcome to the forum from Texas. Please go to the new members section and tell us about you and more info about your Cruiser. If you don't have a large pool of fuel under your vehicle, your injectors are probably dumping fuel. If that is the case like JoeX said, running very poorly and fuel in the oil. Your dipstick should be reading WAY over full, look thin and smell like fuel.

Stop driving and do some serious checking before you do some serious damage.
