Default 2004 PT CRUISER

Hello,
All it's been a while since I posted for help.I have been here from time to time
lurking until now.

Mine is a 2004 automatic turbo with 198,000 miles.I recently about 7weeks ago had quite a bit of work done on it. head gasket replacement, timing belt, water pump, new radiator, power steering pump, plugs and various hose replacements.
The car has now began to change gears while driving after about 15minutes.It
jerks then I have to accelerate on the gas to not lose speed.I started to shift to 3rd gear and of course the RPM is up to 4 so I noticed I'm burning a lot of gas .If I stop and shut the engine off.then restart it resumes normal driving.I checked the fluid level on A.T. and it was fine with normal color. It does not do this while driving on the hiway, as a matter of fact it goes from 0-80 like a new race car.Any help or suggestions appreciated.
