Default Pt drag car

Working on a project to make the fastest car with a 1000 dollar budget. Only has to last for one race. 1/8th mile. Planning on gutting it and spraying it with nitrous. What can be done to make these things fast? GO!

You have the item N20.
Oh and your post should be quickest,
When talking Drag Racing it is all about Quick. Anyone can go fast ...eventually with a long enough road.

Welcome to the forum

Maybe you should really tell us a little more about your PT Cruiser then a budget of 1000. A sniper kit just ate 1/2 of that.

How much can be sprayed on a stock engine? Planning on doing head studs and new head gasket. Thinking of spraying a 100 or 150 shot

i would recommend you look into the autolite AR series plugs. they have a ground back electrode and a recessed tip. they are less prone to melting and are great for one hit wonders like you're proposing.

i only mention this as i'm pretty good at melting plugs in my mustang and when i use these they don't melt half way through third like normal plugs.

Safely 50

You still have not said the year and model PT Cruiser??
Member's that know better about performance are going to be reluctant to suggest things with out basic information.

I doubt that you will be able to use any more then 75hp shot. Beyond that you will more then likely forced the PCM into limp mode.

Some of us have tried to increase to higher nitrous levels but it does require some calibration adjusting in the PCM. You will also need to use 100 octane fuel.
The use of a single electrode spark plug set at a starting point of .028- .032 for a 75shot.
