Default Lowering the PT

I recently had brackets made for the rear spindle.
This bracket was made to bolt on to where the spindle brackets mount.
the bracket was machined to mount the spindle three inches above the original. This would have the wheel, three inches from where is now mounted.
The wheel would go up, the body would come down.
The problem I ran into, is that the bottom shock mount actually goes in to the wheel (rim ) any one know a way to remount the shocks to get them out of the way. Hope my description makes sense.
Thanks.

If you had brackets fabricated then you can easily have shock mounts made and relocate them inside the frame. You could even use coil over shock and eliminate the separate coil spring altogether.
