Default Help

I hooked up a new battery in my 06 pt cruiser backwards and now my ac compressor dosent work and my radio dosent work can somebody help me please

I would suggest keeping in mind that the PCM output to the TIPM needs to be checked before looking at or repairing the TIPM. The PCM sends signals to the TIPM inputs on A/C clutch control.

On the TIPM there is a possibility that the circuit board or the components on the circuit board may need to be repaired. The TIPM is not designed to have the battery hooked up backwards and might have some internal components burnt or open contacts. Some members have suggested resetting the TIPM but I have not heard from anyone if that helps on this issue.

....OR you could have blown a fuse or two especially the IOD. Have you checked them ?
