Default 2007 PT CRUISER P0452

Hi, fuel tank does not vent and MIL code P0452 goes off and on daily. My mechanic already changed front purge valve and the rear NVLD pump and the code is still not fixed. I figure next step is checking connectors to see if NVLD is getting power from PCM? I have a feeling the chassis ground is loose. Anyone know where the NVLD ground wire connects the body of the car or any ideas on what causes a P0452 with no leaks in system?

The sensor is most likely on top of the gas tank ( I don't know for sure), so I would guess the ground wire is somewhere in that area too. Perhaps grounded to the chassis above the tank? Ask your "mechanic" if he had to drop the tank in order to change the sensor. I really don't think this will have any effect on the way your PT runs or performs. It's just a light.
