NO. The entire electrical system is different in the 06. That's the year they switched to the TIPM set-up. You'd have to do so much work, that it WON'T be worth the effort. Best thing to do would be swap as many body parts off the 06 to the 03 as you can. The entire front clip and doors, along with the hatch, will interchange. The 03 turbo is different from all the rest. It has a one year only cooling fan setup. Even the 04 or 05 cooling fans won't work in an 03. If it runs good, then swap parts if they're dented and put a cheap MAACO paint job on it. If you do the prep work yourself, the paint job will probably outlast the GT.

if i get a 03 base or turing body will it swap over or just part it out? body has dents in the areas that can't be replaced (by the right taillight and behind left rear door)

Yep. 99% of the components from 2003 GT will bolt right into any 2003 thru 2005 PT wagon.

And besides the obvious stuff, you will need to swap the instrument cluster, Autostick shifter and the SKIM module too along with the key and lock cylinder. The PCM, SKIM and gray Sentry key from the 2003 GT will all need to stay together. The hardest part would likely be the wiring harness and vacuum hoses to operate the turbocharger control solenoids.
