Default 2005 GT error codes

Ok, Here is the background story. Our '05 gt was due for a smog and before we could take it in the car stalled and went into limp mode. We took it to the dealer for diagnosis and $900 later only they replaced the plugs and wires. The did check the ground, engine wire harness, and O2 sensor, all checked ok.(codes were p0300, p0038, p032, p0573).

We got the car back are drove it for a few days and right before we took it in for the smog the check engine light went on again. Same codes so I replaced both with OEM parts and cleared the codes.

I drove it (but I guess not enough) cuz smog said I needed to drive more beside of past pending (stored) codes. So the check engine light went on again and I called the dealer (since I felt I should get a little more or at least some better answers for $900). They have had the car for a week and they can't get the codes to repeat for them. They said the computer may just need to reset it self and I should drive it more.

Ok, so once the codes are cleared how much do I need to drive it for the computer to reset? 50, 100+? I have a feeling it may be the CPM but don't want to spend the $500 if it's not needed. Any suggestions? The car has 43k original miles. Thanks in advance.

You should invest in an OBDII Scan Tool as it will tell you when you are ready to smog your Pt Cruiser.

This is a chrysler basic drive cycle. It will give you an idea how to get all the cycles to go through.
