a/c problem

i don't think this is too good. my a/c stoped blowing cold, looked under the hood and found this.

Dunno cross-section of hose, but isn't there more rubber inside the braiding? I mean, sure that's the leak? Probably needs replacing anyway....
What happened to you hand? Burn it?

I see no oil in the area, refrigerant has oil suspended in it, so my guess is there is no leak there,

I don't think that is your problem either... Does the fan work and the air is just warm, or does no air come out at all??

took it to the dealer this morning. that hose is on national back order they sent it off to a shop to have a hose made for the time being, and didn't say nothing about money i guess it's covered under warranty.

if you look around where the hose goes into the metal clamp, you'll see the oil. it's all over that side of the engine aswell.

and yes that did burn my hand

i found it on the web. i did have a bunch made up but they are all gone now.

well i got the cruiser back today. no money out of my pocket

woohoo hose broke again today[:0] the dealer got me in and out in three hours. new oem hose, and when they took the old hose off. they ended up striping the compressor bolt, so they gave me a new compressor too but still twice in one month sucks.
