Default Replacement 2.0l manual tx/NV-T350 drain and fill plugs?

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I checked in! We've been slowing going over each important wearing part of our PTC, and we're at the point where we'll be replacing all of the fluids. So, the gearbox....

The girl is up on the lifts today so we'll be looking out for an "ATF" sticker on the box (ATF+4) however it seems like our year might be Mopar M.S. 9417?

So, if we don't find out whether the box contains one or the other, how can we find out?

....which takes us onto the subject of drain and fill plugs. I haven't found a source for spares yet....I'd rather have a set on hand in case either strips out, and preferably to replace the drain plug to prevent any possibility of leakage issues. As everybody says, fluids and plugs are cheaper than boxes.

As a side issue, I take it that the power steering fluid will be straight ATF+4 as well, so here's to hoping that we haven't got weird premium MOPAR unicorn squeezings and ATF+4 in the box....

My greatest concern is over the choice of MTX box fluid. ATF+4 is readily available here in Finland, however, sourcing MS-9417 is going to be a real bear. You think it's expensive over there....? Try squeezing a few quarts of that stuff out of Santa's sack up here in the wilds of northern Europe.

@valkyriemc pretty much states flat out that we shouldn't bang ATF+4 in the box, and given the chances of it ruining our box through quick choice....yeah....also don't want to lose our precious rare box juice from a potentially leaky 16yr-old drain plug!
