Exclamation Error Codes 700 & 882

New PT owner. I own a 06 Turbo Auto. Recently the two trans codes came up 700 & 882. I was told this could be as simple as a bad wire or more. Has anyone had these two codes together. Just bought my Cruiser and pretty stressed. Husband is an old school mechanic (not good with computers on newer cars) but can fix with the right info. So trying to research this and get some answers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is the Alldata disg procedure for this DTC

I would suggest checking the wire harness going to the TCM under the battery. Some members have been able to fix it by repairing the wires or cleaning the wire connectors going to the TCM.

They have a Gen2, the TCM is in the PCM, not a separate module as on some of the Gen1.

Good catch! I met to say to check the wires going to the transmission solenoid/ TRS assembly at the transmission.
