Does anyone know if this is feasible

If low spped fan not working and high works,.....why couldnt you just feed both green and yellow high and low power feeds to yellow high speed connector sonthat when pcm calls for fan high speed will turn on for call of low or high?

Basically cut the wires and run green and yellow power feed together to yellow fan connector wire...and leave green fan connector wire unconnected to power feed.

It would probably be best to have the fan run as designed, but somewhere on this forum is such a mod that someone did by splicing the fan wires together.

The mod was posted on this forum with the last 2-3 months.

I never understood the 2 speed fan anyway, just have a single high speed, and when the vehicle calls for it, it will be on full speed

I hot-wired my high speed to a switch under the dash when the low side gave up the ghost, and I can rack my brains to remember what I did, BUT my poor old 01 had had a complete idiot hacking at the wiring before I got there, so I'm not sure it will do you any good, because I haven't got a clue if mine is actually as it should be... It is actually pretty straightforward involving a relay, but as I say, I will have to rack my brains...

Well..im sorry im so confusing..im doing many diff troubleshotting techniques..it seems like its a pcm / temp sensor issue ..im getting intermittent power (2 out of 20 times) to fan connector when temp gauge gets to proper temp with car idling

And i have proven relay is good.....and wire connections are all good.

You might try checking the wiring and connector going to the engine coolant sensor.

I will check coolant temp sensor connector tomorrow if not raining...myvquestion is that sensor does not send power to relay...it sends info to pcm and pcm sends power to relay

So there is no way to jump temp sensor to force pcm to send power to relay all the time?
