Default Correct PCM Mounting Bracket Bolt???

So, I've navigated the infamous P0601 code and replaced the PCM with a remanufactured PCM out of Florida. The fix seems to have worked, but it turns out the new PCM came with the correct mounting bracket that wasn't on the old PCM that someone had previously replaced. Now I need to determine the correct bolt size to mount the mounting bracket onto the metal tabs from the firewall.

Anybody know the correct bolt size? Or, where I can find that bit of info??

Thanks in advance for the answer and thanks for being the resources I needed to even get this far.

Oh, by the way, it's a 2001 PT Cruiser.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum

From what I can find in the Parts Catalog, it should be:

MOPAR 06505900AA

SCREW, Tapping Hex Flange
Head, M6.3 x 1.81 x 19.00, Engine Controller Mounting

The screw size "SCREW, Tapping Hex Flange Head, M6.3 x 1.81 x 19.00" struck me as odd for a metric screw, so I converted it into inch base size:
M6.3 = .248" = 1/4"
1.81 = 14 threads per inch
19.00 = .748" = 3/4"
So I'd say that's a 1/4-14 x 3 /4 hex washer head self-tapping screw.

If you Google "1/4-14 x 3/4" you'll get lots of hits, most look like self-drilling types. I checked my Cruiser they're not self-drilling, however I suspect the self-drilling ones would work. The stinker is that you usually have to buy these types of screws by the pack. You could try a hardware store, you might get lucky. (Note: standard 1/4" sheet metal screws have a coarser thread.)

The other option is hitting a junkyard and pulling the screws off a Cruiser.
