Default Rear Hatch Open light stay on?

My rear hatch open light came on this mourning during start up and never went off.
Check to see if open but wasn't, was fully closed nothing preventing it from closing either.
Tryed locking doors.
Tryed to turn off and back on to get the auto lock to work, no help.
Ran the three ignition turns to see if it had a error reading, it read DONE.

I don't know what to do now or why it is on. Rear hatch is fully closed

I didn't even know there was a light for that... (why woudl there even need to be a light for that??)

Anyways, with most doors, there is some sensor that something presses up against to sense the door is open or not (Like on a Microwave, Refrigerator, Washing machine, etc.) Check that.

To tell you the hatch isn't fully closed. I've had it come on a few times after I failed to give it a hard enough push to fully close the hatch. Exhaust from the tailpipe can and will seep into the rear cargo bay thru any kind of opening.

Funny, when I got back in to leave work yesterday the light wasn't coming on any more? [:I]

It now seems to be fine. [:I]

I did not even touch it after it when on and stayed on that day.
