Hi All,
The auto trans has been shifting poorly lately, downshifts a little hard and an occasional slippy upshift. Since the fluid and filter were changed just a couple years ago, I decided to give the Seafoam TransTune a try. I pulled out a pint of fluid and replaced it with the Seafoam. To my surprise, its shifting almost normally now (I've never put a lot of stock in additives). The question now is, do I leave it in there or do another fluid/filter change? The bottle says you can leave it in. Thoughts? 03 Turbo AutoStick 107K Cranny |

If it were the oil I would leave it in for a while to let it work. Then change it to get the loosened crud out of the engine. But with the trans, I'm not sure if that's the way to go or not.
