Default set me straight

I read the posts on removing the air intake siliencers/ won't this void the warranty? secondly, I have a fairly loud exhaust system on my car now, I don't think I want it any louder, I am interested in more H.P though/ ....what do you think? turbo

i think with the stuff you have on there they would give you a hard time about the warrenty anything for them not to cover any parts they will say it was something you did just my 2 cents

I forget what act it was, something like the MANGUS somethinoranother act says unless the dealer can prove without a doubt that the aftermarket installed part caused a direct failure it DOES NOT VOID warrenty.

TURBOMAN: when you intalled your new exhaust(BGT?) did you notice how loud the turbo whine is when you floor it? Mine is really loud now. I wonder if you can hear it outside of the car? Maybe i'll get wifey to take it for a test drive while i listen. Hmmm...

My exhaust is loud, however its not a whimpy, high pitched sound, its deep and rumbles, I like it. Wifey can't stand it, she says I paid extra to put holes in my muffler. I haven't really gotten on it yet, once or twice to 5000 rpm's maybe I'l red line her soon. what do ya think? turbomangt

OurPTGT is right Chrysler has to prove that the modification caused the failure so I don't think you have to worry about your muffler causing a failure
