I was wondering if it was possible to get our automatic PT into second gear by doing a shift from 3 > 1 at a speed above 60km/h (where first usually shifts into 2nd)?
Or can 2nd only be used by leaving the shifter in 1st and forcing it to shift to second? |

From 3 what i have noticed going from 3 -> 1 does squat. And ive played with this stuff quite a bit.
I have gotten the best results from just allowing the car to autoshift in 1 from first to second. then when second has wound out shift to 3. While in 3 the rev/speed limiter wont kick in and you should be able to see some extra top end. But remember, the stock tires ARE NOT rated for speeds much over 100mph.
