Default rear core plug 2.2 crd help please how to remove

Hi can anyone help on how to remove the rear core plug is it possible to do myself it looks awkward to get to thanks Chris

Just wondering,
Why do you want to remove it. Is it leaking? I did see the front core plug after removing the radiator and fan but even that would be tough to get to.

If you search your own posts, I've taken the trouble and written long replies to your cries for help before, and you don't even bother to respond by telling me to p*ss off.

I've had to teach myself as I go along with this engine as there is pretty much nothing out there by way of help for what is a "bastard" engine that Mercedes try to pretend never happened in a car Chrysler-Fiat no longer make and offer no support for.

Have fun, and try Googling OM511 and OM642 as they are the two Merc engines the PT diesel lump is most closely related to.

I think, the Mercedes engine type was OM664.
