Hi everyone-- They wouldn't give me a rental at where I bought it from. They just said to drive it like it is till the parts came in. Got to be unsafe to drive and felt like the whole tranmission was going to fall out the bottom. Then they gave me a rental for two days. Rest of the time I bummed rides off of people to get to work. Well today I went shopping and bought a different vechicle. So good bye PT Cruiser fan club. I bought a 2003 Chevy Tahoe with the special Z71 off road package. I guess I went from one extreme to another! Thanks for all your advice and help but I jumped ship before I sank. Only thing is that I don't know how to swim!!

5 star dealers aren't all they are meant to be. I took my GT in for a simple oil change (took 3 hours) and when I got my car back it had three finger prints on both side of the hood emblem. A 5 star service department would have taken a cloth a wiped them off. Sorry about your problems and good luck with your new vehicle.
