Cool Belt, water pump, pulleys, oh my...

But I'll never dig into the timing kit replacement again without also replacing ALL the engine mounts.

Way too much of the NHV in the PT can be traced back to tired engine mounts, especially the hard-to-get-at frame rail mount.

Bought a 164k mile '05 Ltd turbo w/ broken timing belt a few months back and thought, "Well, I'll just replace the belt and see what else might be necessary before spending to much money." Yes, it required other commonly replaced parts, but nothing that required digging deep into the timing belt end of the engine.

Well, I got tired of the excessive noise resonating through the body and went in deep for the engine mount yesterday. Today it feels - and sounds - like I'm driving an entirely new car. It made that much difference.

Don't be like Bob; replace those engine mounts while you're in there.
