Default multiple error codes

I went to start my 03 PT GT today and it would not start. Did the key trip to get codes and this is what I got in this order 0627, 1190, 0517, 0073, 0633 and 0581. Went and hooked up my OBD-II reader and it came up with the 1190 and none of the other codes. Cleared the 1190 and it still won't start. So gentlemen any idea why I have all these codes ? It was running yesterday and no problems

I would suggest checking all ground wires under the hood. You have so many random codes that I would clean the battery cables and do a battery load test.

Try disconnecting the ground battery cable and connect it again and see if it starts.

With these codes after doing what I suggested on my previous post I would check the ground wires going to the ECM.

Ignition switch working okay?

I have been getting a 517 with the key dance, but not with code readers for a couple of years. That is the battery temperature sensor. I don't think it is particularly critical and doesn't set the CEL.

Got rid of all the codes was battery. Now I need to fix the locking tabs on the PCM connectors. When I installed my stage 1 I broke several of the locking tabs not the red ones the black ones under the red tads. Going to pick and pull with a hack saw and get the top part of that wiring harness to the PCM. Over on the Dodge forums a few years back someone was making a strap to keep the four connectors from coming loose because of this problem. They called it a PCM Strap. Anyone here have a solution to the broken tabs on the PCM ?

On my Daughter's Jeep we used large zipties from Walmart. Worked just fine, never had one come lose.

I think I am in big trouble now !!!! Went and zip tied the four connectors to the PCM, took it out for a short run and it was okay. Went and put all my tools away and cleaned up. Went back out to start it up and got a bunch of codes in the 700 series and it went all the way to 0846 The lights on the dash for the transmission are all squares around park, neutral, drive and reverse. The auto shift no 1 ,2. or 3 . Never saw illuminated squares around park, neutral, drive and reverse before. Probably time for a new set of wheels . Put 224000 on it. Maybe screwed up a PCM Damn !!!!

I installed an auto cluster in my cruiser with a manual trans. The lights for PRND and are as you describe. It probably an open in the connector at the transmission controller part of the PCM. If I am remembering correctly its the right most connector and its green. I would just reseat it.
