I would suggest checking fuse #1 in the PDC.

Green wire #4 Make sure #3 is on the left plug if your starter has a left & right. #4 should send power to fuse panel/TIPM. #3 is power from key to the starter solenoid.

It's not getting full voltage to the #3 wire and no spark

Can't remember what it was but there were lots of reports on here about ignition lock unit problems at one time.

Ok, back on the PT cruiser after a couple months of " honey-do" jobs. I had no luck on getting the engine started but I was talking to a good friend and his son works on all cars and he has a high tech scanner. He hooked it up and said he cannot access the Ignition module which is the reason I have no crank and no ignition spark. My question is " is there a fusible link that could be blown on the power to the ignition module [ computer]? Other wise I apparently need a new computer module and where is it located?
I don't know if I can get one for a 15 year old car. ![]() Everything previously suggested by everyone has been checked. Last edited by nicky1; 29 Jun 2020 at 07:18 am. |

I would suggest unplugging the camshaft sensor connector and see if you get a spark. There might be a timing issue.

On a Neon I had a bad ignition switch. It behaved pretty much like this.
