Default pcv replacement

on replacing the pcv valve on 06 turbo PT is it ecessary to replace anything else like a hose?

Not per se, & the valve is easily cleaned w/ aerosol solvent.
Does it rattle freely now? If not, maybe try a squirt before tossing it.

But, please be advised that the hose is frequently a bigger problem: it will usually be age-cracked on the PCV end, & LEAK vacuum. The upside is - they're still cheap.
I installed this hose about a decade ago, & the engine ran smoother IMMEDIATELY.

Besides that hose that WesternslopePT recommended, you might want to considered adding a check valve between in the intake manifold and the new PVC valve. This seems to help reduce blow-by that is due to turbo boost. The PVC valve alone sometimes has a hard time and may not react fast enough. I like to use the Boomba valves because that is what they are designed for. But there are cheaper ones as well.
