Default Muffler Weight

I was just wondering. I noticed that the weight of my new muffler was 19lbs. How much does the stock muffler weigh?

Sure is! I think my Bassani duals are lighter - and the stock muffler is HUGE.

Yea, I thought my new axel back system was adding HP and it was only the weight reduction that increased performance![?]

I was impressed with the difference in weight too, as our custom Supertrapp axle-back setup only weighs about a quarter of what the stock parts did!

The OEM muffler with over-the-axle pipe, tip, and ground strap weighs 20lbs 13.75oz. on a digital HVAC refrigerant scale accurate to within 1/10oz from 1-110lbs.
