Sometimes when I unlock my 2002 PT with the ignition key, the
alarm activates. It never happens with the remote opener. The local Chrysler dealer has no clue. has anyone else had this problem? |

That's weird. Never occurred to me there are even keyholes in the doors. Good to know, in case the remote battery wears out.

I have my stock remote unit disabled, locks and power locking mechanisms disabled and, in theory, the panic alarm is disabled. But twice now, when opening front doors, the panic alarm has gone off and the only way for me to turn it off is to start the car.
