Optimizer II from Kenne Bell
Has anyone tried this Optimizer II from Kenne bell? You send them your PCM and they recalibrate or update or wave a magic wand over it or something, and SHAZAM!!! you pick up 17 HP at the front wheel. They have dyno info proving this out. I was wondering if any one has actually done this, and what are your feelings.

Don't have one, but it isn't free - they reprogram the engine computer to make use of premium gas. It works - also reprograms auto shifts, and does away with the standard of "backing off" on the engine during a shift, which is done for "smoothness" by Chrysler.
Fuel delivery and spark timing are changed for premium fuel.

They didn't have one for my 04 GT. The Stage I does the same thing and only costs $350.00 + shipping.

I think you would have a problem if you then went to a dealer and they flashed any update in your PCM. It would wipe out their programming.

You are right, a PCM flash will overwrite their software. And, if that happens, Kenne Bell will NOT reflash the PCM for free (at least that is what I have been told). Scott
