Default Xenon headlight bulbs

What is the right watt bulb that I should use, as not to melt my plastic headlight housing? www.streetbeatcustoms.com has a 9006 80w bulb, they also have lower watt bulbs as well. What is the OEM bulb watt?

From what I have been reading on the forum here, 55W is OEM and the max people are using is 60W. Any higher and you get a melt down.

If you use the same watt bulb, then what is the advantage to the xenon bulbs? What I am looking for is better visiblity than what I have now with the OEM headlights and the OEM driving lamps.

Art, I did, I just wanted to know the type and model number he got. One of my friends once got some for his Malibu and they ended up being the same. [:I]
