Default trendsetter functional side pipes for pt

I have 2003 pt base model and was thinking about adding these pipes and was wondering if anyone has them or has heard good or bad about them. also any advantage or disavantage between them and a dual exhaust, im trying to get a nice deep sound for my car not the high pitched import tuner sound, which would be better and what else would you recommend
thanks

cypunk31,

Can you tell me where the site is to see these Thrustmaster side pipes are. California Cruiser and JC Whiney both seel working side pipes but I'm not overjoyed with either of them. I'd like to see what your talking about. Tried a search under that name but couldn't find it. Thanks.

Side pipes will bottom out more easily, especially if you lower it later. They will also appear to be louder to the driver as the sound reflects off passing buildings, etc. But they look cool
