I have noticed that a puddle of water pools under the middle to back end of the car. It is not big and I am sure it is water. I am thinking that it is coming from perforations in the muffler and that it is to prevent rusting. Anybody else notice this? Any ideas on what else it could be?Thanks everyone.

CanuckGT,
You hit the nail on the head. Your in a cold climate area and that's just what you have is water dripping from the weep holes in the exhaust system. Nothing to worry about. John & Terry 2002 Inferno Red Touring Edition |

Yeah I have noticed the puddling up of water just, behind the passenger side front tire. I first thought it might be my radiator had sprung a leak in one of the tubings, but I did'nt notice any real smell to it (no toasties). Figured it was just condensation or something, but it is nice to know that others have seen this and everything is A O.K.

Strangelove,
Your water puddle is different than CanuckGT's water. The water in back of the front passenger tire is from the air-conditioning. It's from a run-off tube and nothing to worry about either. You might think your not running the air-conditioning but even in the defrost mode for the front window, the air-conditioning components will be ON to give you dry air to keep the front window clear. ![]() Trade your GAMES & MOVIE DVD's at: www.gametradingpost.net |
