Default Code # 1193

Was checking my codes, and found # 1193 came up. Now 1193 is 'Inlet air temperature sensor voltage is wrong' What is that, and how can I correct it? Thanks!

Have you done an air intake that has you move the sensor? Is the code still there, or "came and went"? [:I]

Yes I did install an Intake, but I used the stock tube. Maybe since there is more air being forced throught, thats my code coming up.

Code came up right after? Still on? Suppose for a test you could put stock intake back, but haven't heard of an intake causing that, unless it was one that required you to move the sensor. [:I]

Thanks Quicksilverdon, yea the code is still on. Car runs fine! I don't have the stock air box anymore. I used the stock intake tube (the rubber one) with all the stock sensors in place and used a conical filter.

That shouldn't throw a code.
Maybe it's a bad sensor.
