Hey guys trying to isolate a problem here. We've installed a SPEC clutch about 5000 miles ago. The other day it started not going into first gear but runs all the other gears fine with exception of ocassinally not finding second but only after coming to a complete stop. I'll have to shut off the engine and then I can hit 1st gear and it will shift just fine after that. After a while it responds as if nothing were wrong. Any thoughs as to where the issue may be?

I know when I had my stock shifter on, I had 2 occasions that I could not select ANY gears even when the clutch was pressed in. I had to wait till the car to come almost a complete stop before I could shift again.
After I used the Mopar Short Shifter, the problem hasn't occured again. It was pretty random when the problem hit me. I have 10,000 miles on my 04 GT 5-Speed atm. |

[8D] Figured it out. It was the pedal adjustment. I backed the pedal up some and retighted the adjustment bolt and it works fine now. Now I remember the pedla being like this before I installed the new clutch. Whew take was freaking me out for while there.
