Default Ram Air Hood

I am thinking of getting a PT Cruiser RAM Air Hood. I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on them. I was concerned about water getting in on heavy rainy days. Will the water effect the air filter performance. Will it totally damage the air filter in some water gets to it?

I like my single scoop. No water unless I ram it in the scoop.
When I wash the car and then open the hood, a little water drains out of the holes in the mid hood. Other than that nope...

PTGT Redman, I have always thought that the hood you have is the nicest. Personal opinon. I also like your rims, your grill, etc., etc., [?]

Cool. I noticed there's a screen of some sort, does this get dirty easy? Do you have to clean it with a brush of some sort?

PTGT Redman...On a side note, your shock tower brace...I notice it has the Turbo etched on it, did you have this done or did it come that way?

So cool that you have my color and the hood I was thinking about buying. I think that single looks great. Love your rims too, where did you find those?

Thx.
The wheels are Ronal RT's
The mesh in the scoop is metal and doesn't require cleaning.
I had mine painted red as well as opposed to leaving it bright silver.

Thanks. Now I'm trying to decide whether I like the single or dual scoops.

You can't go wrong. They both look good.
I had them send mine right to the shop that was going to
paint it.Save a little on shipping and that way I didn't
have to be home to sign for it.

Good idea about having it shipped to the paintshop. I'll keep that in mind.
