I am looking into the 'FLOWMASTER' American Thunder cat back dual system #17327. Great price of $383. to my door. Question is, does anyone out there have this system, and what do you think of it? Thanks!

I have a 40 series flowmaster muffler, single in single out, and it sounds awesome. It only cost me $136 full installation plus muffler. It has a nice deep, but low, rumble at idle, and at takeoff it sounds really throaty. All you're doing with the American Thunder series is getting a muffler and new piping that's the exact same size as the old. The performance benefits between the two are going to be almost identical. I would go for just a new muffler and tip.
