Default After market exhaust..mufflers

What is the inlet size for a muffler on the PT?
I'm looking on Ebay and all the mufflers listed for PT Cruisers say they have a 2.5 inch inlet though I have seen posted elsewhere in these forums that the inlet size for PT mufflers is 2.25 inches
I don't want to waste my money on a muffler that is the wrong size.
Thanks

Yes, they are 2.25". If you go with Catbacks, you can get 2.5", so from the cats on through the muffler, it will be 2.5"
