Default Power windows

Can't help but wonder - my '02 windows don't work when the ignition is in accessory position, only when on. This is normal, right? The moonroof works when in acc. Kinda inconvenient when you're parked, but this is my first Chrysler - maybe they're all like that.

Thanks.

My '03 GT is the same ... as is my '97 RAM 1500. It seems to be the normal thing for Dodge/Chrysler

It's a safety feature, kind of like the reason you've got auto down windows but no auto up windows. There is a simple fix for the window problem on ptdoityourself.net it involves using a piece of wire with a inline fuse, you pop it into the fuse box somewhere, don't remember, but check that site for the fix.
