Default Round of applause please

I finally while waiting for my PT to get recal fixed. Got the second horn that should have come with my 03.

I got it installed last night.

Its not what I expected it to be but it sure is alot louder, and actually sounds like a car now too.

I know that my car with one horn is an embarrassment to use. I would rather stick my head out the window and scream Good for you King for doing something. Hopefully I'll get off my XXX and do mine soon

I put a louder horn in the 04. It did help some.
I'm planning on getting one for the wifes as I understand
it, the 03's have the wiring in it for the second horn . My
o4 didn't.
Oh yea ,I almost forgot.

Both my 2003 and early production (built 08/03) 2004 GT model had the wiring already in the car. Maybe your 2004 model was manufactured late in the production year after DC realized they were wasting money putting in the wiring after removing [B)] the high-note horn. [V] [:I]

For me at least, not having both the low and high-note horns installed on my Cruiser is a safety issue. [:0] There is definitely a difference that can be heard! [|)]

How hard is it to put a good loud horn it my car? I miss the horns on the old American cars. They let people know they were there!

I used to have to drift out of drivers' way due to them doing something stupid and me not having a loud enough horn.

Now I scare the crap out of them! Thanks Hella!

It's not hard , The horn is located on the passenger side in front of the tire under the black plastic

Sure glad my 03 had the wiring, it sure made the job real easy. All I needed was a self taping bolt to complete the job.
