Default 02 PT Drifts to the left.

Fellow PT Owners,

I own a 02 PT Cruiser LE. I just had 6000-mile service a few weeks ago (Oil service/Tires Rotated). Now my PT seems to drift to the left. You have to hold the steering wheel to the center. If you do not it will turn just a tad to the left. I though it was the road causing the problem but even on flat road or road that are kind of paved with tilt to the right (water drainage) the PT still drifts to the left. I took it back last week and they said they had to order some caster/toe suspension parts to fix the problem. I have just gotten back today and it still has the same problem. They said they did a front-end alignment and adjusted the suspension so that it will track straight. But it will only track straight if I hold the wheel to center. Is this normal? I don't remember it doing that before. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin D.

That is not normal for any car.
I would take it back again.

Check tire pressures and rotate the front tires left to right. If they were rotated front to rear, then your current front tires wouldn't have shown a problem on the rear.

Do they do a 4 wheel thrust alignment on these cars?

Inferno Red GT, chrome wheels, chrome AMP fuel door, chrome side spears, PT Cruiser 3rd light diffuser, silencers removed from airbox...ain't this car fun?!?!?
