Default RE: Air Filter

I changed the air filter yesterday, no problem. On the side of the wall, there was another little filter element about 2 inches long by 1 inch wide. Do you have to change that also???

Also on the bottom of the air filter tray, there was a light coating of oil allover the bottom of the tray. Is that normal ????????[8

That little "sponge" doesn't get changed, but you can clean it if you want. The "sponge and oil are from the crankcase breather - if you get a lot, you can add a catch can to trap the oil.

If you mean the bottom of the air box then yes, that's normal. Just clean it out when you see it.
