So if I did all of this (cams, cam gears, tensioner, plus GT manifold and a bored TB,) would 2.5" exhaust tubing still hurt my low end opposed to the 2.25", or would I be generating enough power to push enough air through the 2.5" tubing, and get a better advantage that way? Actually, I was just wondering because the Monza or Pacesetter is a very good price for a full cat back system and they use 2.5" .

also, would a Crane HI-6DI2 CD Ignition be a worthy performance benefit for the cost? I can't really pay for the Hahn, which is what I really want. Even if I could, it isn't CARB approved...

Hey All,

I'm wondering about doing that to my PT too. I'd never thought about teh better ignition. Will a better ignition, as stated do good? Is it a waste of $$$$$$$$$??? My PT needs a whole hell of a lot more pep.

the monza will work good. monza is a good inexpensive exhaust but i found it to have a raspy sound on other cars. never heard a pt with one though. there are better ways to spend the $ than on ignition. you wil see a small gain but not worth it, better to buy an underdrive pulley.
