looking for the pet cock on the raidator,what to drain some fluid out so i can put in a temp guage . some were on the block .

Pretty sure there isn't any. You have to take off lower hose.[xx(]
Suggestion - find where sensor is for existing temp gauge, put in a "tee" fitting, and have both.

The drain is on the drivers side at the lower, engine side of the radiator. Just turn it counter clockwise about 1/4 to 1/2 turn. there is a small round port you may be able to put a small hose on to guide the fluid into a container. DO NOT OPEN THE DRAIN WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT AND/OR UNDER PRESSURE! If you just want to drain down some of the fluid out of the engine, remove the radiator cap, otherwise you will drain the Coolant Recovery Tank before the level drops in the engine.
Don't forget to bleed the air from the system as you refill the radiator.The bleed screw looks like a brake bleeder screw, below the radiator cap. Open the screw and fill the system until fluid comes out, tighten the bleed screw and finish filling the system.
