Default Catalytic Converter

Found this on E-bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WD1V

and was wondering if it would actually give any performance gains to an N/A Cruiser? Has anyone installed one of these? Any difference? Is there another company making a better catalytic converter? How much would a muffler shop charge to install one of these?

Unless you go with a larger diameter than the stock 2.25" I am not sure you would be gaining much. Note that OBDII (which we have) requires an O2 bung be purchased and installed "minor modifications and welding may be required".

I would say a lot of work for a little gain in wheel HP!
