This may be old news to some, but Chrysler is randomly omitting the threaded nuts embedded in the rear axle that secure the sway bar cushions. It looks like some wizardry will need to happen to position and spot weld the nuts in place--but it looks possible. If anyone has already dealt with this issue, please post your fix.

You don't have to weld anything in place if you are referring to the place that the clamshell that holds the bushing and bolts to the axle. You have to hold the nut in place, start the bolt and tighten it down. It is a PITA but can be done, especially if you have air tools. It makes it easier to just zip it tight once you get it started.

zoned,
sorry to hear that you are one of the unlucky ones. I would take it to the dealership and insist they weld in the nuts. Mine were there on my 05 convertible making the rear sway a snap to put in. Otherwise you'll have to find the right ones that fit cause I'm not sure DC even sells the proper nuts anymore. They weren't even listed in the parts computer at my dealership when I purchased the factory install parts (dog bones, bolts, clam shells)
